Our client is a Modern Gastro Pub and are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef.
All produce is locally sourced and everything will be cooked from scratch.
The property has a modern twist to the interior and has a wonderful atmosphere as a result. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to get involved in a small but efficient and professionally run, strong team.
The Role: Sous Chef
Role Criteria
? The ideal Chef will have previous 4star hotel experience or worked within quality restaurants,
? Responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety
? Responsible for maintaining the high caliber quality in food currently being served as well as providing further innovation and inspiration to the menu.
? Will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
? Passion and ability in accord is required
? Weekly Cash tips
? Rota control
? Stock control
? Supplier liaison
? Budgets and forecasts
? Fresh season produce locally sourced
? NVQ1 and 2 or the equivalent
? The successful Sous Chef will display an audit trail within a similar operation.

The right candidate will be passionate about food, have the ability to cook with fresh seasonal locally sourced ingredients. Good man management is required as well as the ability to build you?re own brigade and implement work ethics and a Kitchen culture.
